RCDC has a rich history in leading industrial and commercial development through attraction and business retention and expansion practices.  We partner with business and community leaders from both the public and private sectors as well as play a large role in assisting our local forms of government through various needs.

RCDC offers location assistance, economic development incentive packaging, and acts as a government liaison at the local, state, and federal levels.  Additional services include demographic and workforce data research, business plan assistance, and government grant assistance.

In an attempt to encourage entrepreneurship and support local businesses, RCDC hosts various business workshops and luncheons.  These events provide an avenue for education and networking.  RCDC is also an active participant in the Richland County CEO Program, aiding to train and develop a strong local entrepreneurial workforce.

Our mission is to support all Richland County Communities in the advancement of economic development.  RCDC’s number one goal has always been, and will continue to be, job creation and retention.
